The life of Brander Finishing products begins in the year 1930 in the German town Erbisdorf. There, the chemical group Deutsche Solvay Werke starts the paint factory Brand Erbisdorf. Around 1950 the name changed to Brander Farbwerke. In the sixties Dutch plasterers also were convinced of the quality and use of the Brander decorative wall paints and plasters.
